  • Assembly District Branch Best Practice Award

  • The Assembly District Branch Best Practice Award recognizes a District Branch for exemplary standard practices and/or innovative programs in areas such as member services, communications, financial management, government affairs, and meetings/education, with a special interest in practices and programs that hold potential for replication by other District Branches.

    There are two categories for this award, one for smaller DBs/SAs (with 200 or fewer members) and one for larger DBs/SAs (with 201+ members).

    District Branch representatives (in collaboration with their respective District Branch Council) should complete the following application and provide details on new practices that have proven particularly efficient and effective as well as innovative programs implemented in the past year.

  • DBs/SAs may select between one (minimum) and three (maximum) efforts or programs. Check where applicable, noting if it's a special effort that made a standard program successful or an innovative program that other District Branches might adapt. If checked, please elaborate on the next page.  Please limit supporting documents to 10 pages total.
